ROAD Karakol Conference: Innovations in Civil Servants’ Education for Regional Sustainable Development (18 June 2019)

The K. Tynystanov Issykkul State University (IKSU), Karakol, Kyrgyztan, hosted the 2ndInternational Conference on the 18 June 2019, in the scope of ROAD Project. The programme of the Conference included, among others, the following presentations: Digitalization of governmental services, Education of civil servants: challenges and perspectives, and Tourism and Climate Change in Central Asian Destinations: Planning, Marketing and Transport Issues (workshop).

ROAD-Conclusion of the Training in Tecnico Lisboa

The Instituto Superior Técnico (Técnico Lisboa), Portugal, hosted a Training session in the 5-9 November 2018, in the scope of ROAD Project Working Package WP3 – Training for Trainers. The training focus, as established in the training Plan, was “Financial control, audit and evaluation of public spending” and was secured in collaboration with the Department of Engineering and Management (DEG) of Técnico Lisboa.

The project partners were offered the opportunity to visit the Portuguese Parliament and participate in a meeting with a Parliamentary Deputy, who is an expert in these matters.

 

 

 

ROAD – Training in Técnico Lisboa

The Instituto Superior Técnico (Técnico Lisboa), Portugal, is hosting between 5-9 November, a Training in the scope of ROAD Project Working Package WP3 – Training for Trainers. The training focus, as established in the training Plan, is “Financial control, audit and evaluation of public spending”.

The agenda of this training session includes, among others, the following topics:

ROAD Ashgabat Conference: Turkmenistan in the heart of the Silk ROAD (May 24, 2018)

The International University for the Humanities and Development, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (IUHD), hosted the 1st International Conference on the 24th  May 2018, in the scope of ROAD Project. The programme of the Conference included, among others, the following presentations: ROAD and ACADEMICA Projects, Sustainable Tourism and Economic Development, and Sustainable Urban Development and Smart Cities.

Training in Stockholm (9-13 April 2018)

The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), in Stockholm, Sweden, hosted a Training on the 9-13 April 2018, in the scope of ROAD Project Working Package WP3 – Training for Trainers. The training focus, as established in the training Plan, was “Development and Maintenance of Urban Transport Infrastructure”.

Regional Objectives for Administrative Development: Dissemination videos

Projeto ROAD – Regional Objectives for Administrative Development

Under the ROAD Project, in the scope of its Work Package 1 – COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK OF LOCAL CIVIL SERVANTS), AEP Coordinator has participated  in a Study Tour hosted by AKSU (Arabaev Kyrgyz State University) in Biskhkek, on the 19-22 June 2017.This project primarily aims to enhance local development strategy of Kyrgyz and Turkmen civil servants through improving their competencies, and the agenda of this Study Tour included a Training session (Tools for needs detection/group dynamic techniques), a visit to Bishkek City Hall and interviews to civil servants of this local institution that contributed for the definition of a Training Plan.
